Position Summary 

 

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer with a focus on experience in Workflow Automation, Clinical AI Integration, and Intelligent Imaging Operations to design, develop, and deploy intelligent healthcare solutions that automate clinical workflows, integrate AI into healthcare ecosystems, and optimize medical imaging operations. The ideal candidate combines expertise in machine learning, healthcare interoperability, workflow orchestration, computer vision, and clinical systems integration to build scalable AI-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency, diagnostic quality, and patient outcomes. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

​

  • Secure medical imaging ecosystems, including PACS, VNA, modality networks, and enterprise imaging platforms. 

  • Assess and mitigate cybersecurity risks across healthcare infrastructure and connected devices. 

  • Implement security controls for DICOM, HL7, FHIR, cloud services, and healthcare applications. 

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, incident response, and security monitoring activities. 

  • Develop policies and governance frameworks that support compliance and risk management objectives. 

  • Partner with IT, clinical engineering, and imaging informatics teams to strengthen organizational security posture. 

 

Required Qualifications

  • US Citizenship 

 

Desired Qualifications 

​

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or related field. 

  • Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI 

  • Python, cloud-native architectures, and API development 

  • DICOM, HL7, FHIR, and healthcare interoperability standards 

  • Medical imaging workflows and imaging informatics 

  • MLOps, model deployment, monitoring, and governance 

  • Clinical workflow analysis and process optimization 

 

Experience 

​

  • 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, software engineering, or healthcare technology. 

  • 3+ years of experience implementing AI solutions in healthcare or life sciences environments. 

  • Experience integrating AI solutions with clinical systems and healthcare workflows. 

  • Proven experience deploying production-grade AI applications. 

 

Technical Skills

  • Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn 

  • Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision 

  • Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures 

  • Agentic AI frameworks and workflow orchestration 

  • Workflow optimization 

  • API integration and event-driven architectures 

  • CI/CD pipelines 

  • Use and integration of MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow 

  • SQL and NoSQL databases 

  • Data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes 

  • Healthcare data modeling 

  • Real-time streaming architectures
