Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing development team. In this key role, you will design, develop, and implement scalable applications and web services that power our telemedicine platform. In this remote position you will collaborate closely with the CTO, product owner, project manager, and other engineers to shape technical solutions, mentor teammates, and deliver high-quality, secure software. Communications and the ability to inspire while being part of the team or mentoring others. We are looking for the unique individual.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications related to the Medweb server and related projects.

• Collaborate with the development team to define project scope, architecture, and technical requirements.

• Build and maintain scalable web services and internal tools.

• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, resolve bugs, and improve application performance.

• Contribute to UX design discussions to improve usability and overall user experience.

• Provide status updates and risk assessments to leadership, including action plans when needed.

• Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of quality and innovation.

Qualifications

Required:

• U.S. citizenship (required for compliance with certain contracts).

• Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular.

• Strong skills in SQL and Python.

• Familiarity with Linux and Linux Shell scripting.

• Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer or similar role.

• Advanced degree in a technology-related field.

• Experience with Perl, C, or C++ (basic knowledge a plus).

• Experience leading small development teams or projects.

• Strong interest in healthcare technology and telemedicine.
